What is GMDH Shell?

GMDH Shell is forecasting and data mining software that can solve different problems such as Time Series Forecasting, Regression and Classification. Modular architecture of GMDH Shell allows you to gather various plug-in modules into a processing chain (see the illustration) according to a type of your problem. You don’t have to configure all data processing aspects manually - intelligent features of GMDH Shell assist you at every stage of data processing.

Usually you should only choose a template for your problem type, set the path to a file with your data or paste data to .xls file proposed by the template, set the number of predictions to obtain, and finally click the Start button to get results.

At the same time, the quality of the solutions obtained for predictive data mining problems depends on clear understanding of transformations over the input data carried out by the software. Thus, we recommend you to read the software documentation completely in order to get better usage experience with GMDH Shell.
